A Flexible Degree Designed for You

On-campus or online

Duke has you covered: Study on-campus or online. Start with a summer pre-program online data science and programming boot camp. Finish in as little as 12 months of studying full-time through the accelerated course schedule, or stay for a third semester and focus on industry-oriented electives.

Two track options to Choose from

Technical Track or Technology Management Track

Select a track and associated elective course options which align with your career aspirations.  The Technical Track prepares students for careers as data scientists or machine learning engineers across a range of industries, building AI models and AI-based products and systems.  The Technology Management Track prepares students for careers as product owners, product managers, or project managers leading the development and commercialization of AI products.

Online Graduate Certificate Option

Keep working and keep learning. Take courses without the commitment of a formal degree program. The Graduate Certificate in AI Foundations for Product Innovation can be completed online part-time in 15 months, with a single course per semester.
